Purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the role of community in economic sustainability towards post-visit behavior to cultural tourism destinations in the city of Palembang. Research methods: This research is a quantitative study, which examines the relationship between the variables of the role of community, in this case, the community, in the economy sustainability of tourism and several other variables, which is the role of the community in ecological, social, cultural sustainability toward post-visit behavior, in the form of tourist satisfaction. The technique analysis used was multiple regression analysis techniques and the data of this study were collected through a survey in 2019, using a questionnaire of 107 respondents who were tourists who had visited one of the cultural tourism destinations in Palembang. Result and Discussion: The results of this study indicate that the role or participation of community in the sustainability of tourism has a positive and significant effect on visitor or tourist satisfaction Conclusion: the community participation in tourism sustainability is significantly important in order to create tourist satisfaction; hence it’s important to focus on community empowerment.
Nowdays, our modern society is dominated by information and digital media that change our civilization come to term digital civilization. Digital Civilization that represented by society culture or lifestyle, has change one way of life, including the way to pay in purchase something digitally. Within this digital civilization, non-cash payment is one of popular method used within a transaction in digital civilization. The purpose of this research is to examine the correlation of the growing of non-cash payments that involve card-based payment instruments, which is issued by banks, the development of the tourism and or hospitality industry, as the focus of the current development, and the Indonesian economy. This study uses data from the period of 2003-2015, i.e.: number of ATM card and debit card, the number of hotel guests, and GDP, which is processed using the 3 SLS analysis technique, which is different from previous research technique analysis, in addition to differences in the variables used. The findings of this study indicate a significant positive relationship between cards based payment and the number of star hotel guests on economic growth. Furthermore, specifically the findings of this study indicate that the method of payment using ATM and debit cards positively and significantly influence the number of star hotel guests, but has no effect on the number of non-star hotel guests. This finding can be considered for banking and hospitality industry 4.0 strategic initiatives for competitiveness and sustainability in order to support economic development.
The data presented in this research is an observational cross-province study of life expectancy and pension funds. The data were extracted from the published database of Statistic Indonesia and Indonesia Financial Services Authority, covering a period of 2015 to 2019. The collected data were analyzed; using a panel data regression model on random effect assumptions with Generalized Least Squares. The finding of this research shows that there is a positive and significant effect of life expectancy on pension funds. This research paper data will assist in promoting the opportunity for pensions fund business or institution.
the sustainability development is a target to be achieved by any nations, it requires to have qualified human capital. While population`s level of education, especially those who work, are still relatively low. The failure in education indicates the failure in the education quality improvement, lack of school participation rate (SPR), net enrollment rate (NER) and the Gross Enrollment Rate (GER), as well as the average length of school. The purpose of this study was to what extent the achievement of Indonesia in sustainability development. For that the discussion of sustainability development would be reviewed from the contributions of several education indicators in Indonesia comparatively and several variables represented by the poverty alleviation or reduction. This comparative analysis was carried out in order to improve research model and to enlarge the knowledge within this field of research. The research methods were qualitative and quantitative approaches, multivariate regression analysis techniques, the condition of some education quality in Indonesia and some other variables in 2010. The results of this study indicated that there was a significant simultaneous influence of variables tested from the equation toward poverty reduction variable, specifically related to educational variables, partial effects were only shown by the education variables with the indicator of secondary school enrollment rates had effect, while the other educational indicators did not.
