Essa pesquisa, de caráter qualitativo, analisa a utilização dos jogos como auxiliador para motivar os alunos a participarem das aulas de forma ativa, construindo conhecimento e não simplesmente recebendo-o. O objetivo foi desenvolver atividades pedagógicas utilizando jogos matemáticos de modo a entender sua potencialidade associados a perspectiva dialógica para a aprendizagem. Nesse intuito, buscou-se responder a pergunta: quais as contribuições que a utilização dos jogos matemáticos pode trazer para o aprendizado dos alunos através da perspectiva dialógica? Com essa finalidade realizou-se um estudo de campo com alunos do ensino médio, o qual desenvolvemos dois tipos de jogos. Com o primeiro jogo, a “Máquina de Função”, procurou-se que os alunos sentissem motivados a participarem da aula e formarem seu conhecimento sobre o conceito de função por meio de suas próprias observações. Com o segundo, o “Eu tenho...! Quem tem...? ”, buscou-se que a turma se comunicasse para realizar as atividades em conjunto e estivesse maior parte da aula empenhada na realização da atividade. Por meio dessa pesquisa pôde-se observar nos alunos que, em algumas situações, deixaram de apenas aceitar tudo aquilo que eram lhes passado, mas questionaram e buscaram entender o que motivava a adoção daquele procedimento de resolução.
