FFP utilization has changed significantly over a 10-year period. FFP was used most commonly in 2006-2008 for the correction of coagulopathy. FFP administration was associated with significant reduction in prothrombin time and activated partial thromboplastin time but did not significantly alter albumin concentration when administered at median doses of 15-18 mL/kg.
