In today’s era usage of communication technology is increasing day by day whether it may be in the field of education or any other field. The dependency on these technological devices has been increased; it may be fruitful on one hand and problematic from some aspects on other side. People are not realizing the negative aspects of the usage but when they were asked they seemed to neglect the negative aspects as they are not concerned but some other day it will certainly affect them. The present study was done to identify the communication technology induced stressor, exploratory factor analysis has been done on the data collected from 427 respondent and nine factor are extracted containing variables which simply explains the smartphone uses stressor that and those factors may be used for further analysis in various studies related to smartphone usage.
Though a series of articles have appeared in journals investigating information search behaviour, there has been no systematic review of literature which draws attention to the variables studied and their relationship with information search in services. To fill this gap, this study aims to review the research that has investigated factors influencing the external information search behaviour in the domain of services and to accentuate the important yet less studied factors. The review also aims to draw attention to the contrary findings in literature and proffer future research propositions. A detailed search for literature was conducted using different databases with different keywords. The variables affecting information search were classified into four categories, namely, behavioural factors, personal factors, product/service factors and situational factors, and it was found that a few factors need more focus by researchers. A set of propositions for future research has been offered.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
