Hasil belajar siswa mulai menurun di masa pandemi COVID-19. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui hubungan pola asuh orang tua dengan tingkat kedisiplinan siswa SMP Negeri 15 Kota Kupang pada masa Pandemi Covid 19. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan korelasi. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 60 orang siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : (1) Pola asuh orang tua siswa SMP Negeri 15 Kota Kupang dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 83, 98 termasuk kedalam kategori cukup baik yaitu berada pada interval 81-85; (2) Tingkat kedisiplinan siswa SMP Negeri 15 Kota Kupang dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 82,11 dikategorikan cukup baik yaitu berada pada interval 78-83; (3) Hasil analisis hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa nilairxy = 0,526 berada pada arah yang positif. Hubungan pola asuh orang tua dengan tingkat kedisiplinan siswa SMP Negeri 15 Kota Kupang termasuk dalam kategori cukupkuat dengan interval 0,40-0,599; (4) Data penelitian dan hasil juga menunjukkan bahwa thitung = 0,526 , sedangkan ttabel pada taraf signifikansi 5% = 1,671 dan t tabel pada taraf signifikan 1% = 2,390. Ini berarti bahwa thitung lebih besar dari ttabel. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada hubungan yang signifikan antara pola asuh orang tua dengan tingkat kedisiplinan siswa kelas SMP Negeri 15 Kota Kupang. _____________________________________________________________Student’s learning outcomes began to decline during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study aims to determine the relationship between parenting patterns and the level of discipline of students at SMP Negeri 15 Kupang City during the Covid 19 Pandemic. This study applies a correlation approach. The number of samples in this study are 60 students. The results showed that: (1) The parenting pattern of the students of SMP Negeri 15 Kupang City with an average score of 83, 98 was included in the fairly good category, which was in the 81-85 interval; (2) The level of discipline of students of SMP Negeri 15 Kupang City with an average score of 82.11 is categorized as quite good, which is in the 78-83 interval; (3) The results of the hypothesis analysis show that the value of rxy = 0.526 is in a positive direction. The relationship between parenting patterns and the level of discipline of students at SMP Negeri 15 Kupang City is included in the fairly strong category with an interval of 0.40-0.599; (4) The research data and results also show that tcount = 0,526, while ttable at a significance level of 5% = 1,671 and t table at a significant level of 1% = 2,390. This means that tcount is greater than ttable. So it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between parenting patterns and the level of discipline of students of SMP Negeri 15 Kupang City. Speech Value in The Stage of Marriage Custom of The Suelain Village Community, Lobalain Districts Rote Ndao Regency ABSTRAKPerkawinan merupakan suatu ikatan sosial/perjanjian hukum, baik secara adat maupun Agama bagi seorang laki-laki dan seorang perempuan untuk hidup berumah tangga. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah memaparkan dan mendeskripsikan nilai budaya yang tergurat dalam tuturan adat perkawinan masyarakat Desa Suelain Kecamatan Lobalain Kabupaten Rote-Ndao. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori Linguistik Antropologi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah Tokoh-tokoh adat masyarakat Suelain Kecamatan Lobalain Kabupaten Rote Ndao. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik (1) observasi; (2) wawancara; (3) perekaman dan pencatatan. Sementara pengolahan datanya dilakukan melalui (a) pengaksaran, (b) terjemahan, (c) analisis, dan (d) simpulan. Hasil penelitian dan pembahasan menunjukkan bahwa perkawinan adat masyarakat Desa Suelain Kecamatan Lobalain Kabupaten Rote-Ndao terdiri atas 7 tahap yaitu : (1) Tahap peminangan disebut Hengga Mbotik; (2) Tahap perundingan belis; (3) Tahap pengumpulan belis (Tu’u belis); (4) Tahap penyerahan belis; (5) Tahap terang kampung disebut Nggani Eik’; (6)Tahap pengukuhan adat disebut Natudu sasao; dan (7) Tahap pengantaran mempelai perempuan diantara ke rumah mempelai laki-laki disebut Dode. Dari ketujuh tahap tuturan adat perkawinan ini, memiliki (1) Nilai Religius; (2) Nilai kebersamaan; dan (3) Nilai Etika.Kata kunci: Masyarakat, Perkawinan, Tuturan, Nilai ABSTRACTMarriage is a social bond/legal agreement, both according to custom and religion for a man and a woman to live as a household. The purpose of this research is to explain and describe the cultural values that are inscribed in the custom marriage speech of the people of Suelain Village, Lobalain District, Rote-Ndao Regency. This study uses the theory of Anthropological Linguistics. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. The data sources in this study were from traditional leaders of the Suelain community, Lobalain District, Rote Ndao Regency. Collecting data in this study used techniques (1) Observation; (2) Interview; (3) Recording and recording. While processing the data is done through (a) Recognizing, (b) Translation, (c) Analysis, and (d) Conclusion. The results of the research and discussion show that the custom marriage of the people of Suelain Village, Lobalain District, Rote-Ndao Regency consists of 7 stages, namely: (1) The proposal stage is called Hengga Mbotik; (2) Purchase negotiation stage; (3) Belis collection stage (Tu'u belis); (4) Purchase submission stage; (5) The bright stage of the village is called Nggani Eik'; (6) The customary confirmation stage is called Natudu sasao; and (7) The stage of delivering the bride to the groom's house is called Dode. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Ritual Adat Dab'ba pada Masyarakat Desa Eilogo Kecamatan Sabu Liae Kabupaten Sabu Raijua. Masalah yang dibahas dalam penelitian ini adalah nilai apa sajakah yang terkandung dalam Ritual Adat Dab'ba pada Masyarakat Desa Eilogo Kecamatan Sabu Liae Kabupaten Sabu Raijua?. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Teori Linguistik Kebudayaan, sementara metode dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menggambarkan bahwa pelaksanaan Sabung ayam di Sabu Liae pertama kali dilaksanakan di Meluna Kolo. Ritual adat Dab'ba terdiri dari 2 tahap antara lain : (a) Huri Rei Ana ( memberi tanda titik pada anak yaitu dahi, pipi kiri, pipi kanan, dan dagu). (b) Labba Nada (memagari arena sabung ayam dengan kayu kom); ritual Adat Dab'ba mengandung nilai religius, nilai solidaritas dan nilai moral.
This study was undertaken to determine the influence of peer editing on SMA Negeri 2 Kupang students' writing in argumentative and descriptive, as well as the components of writing that were altered, the impact on the students' writing scores and also the comparison impact of this peer editing based on students’ gender. To support the findings, this study is classified as dominating descriptive qualitative and blended with descriptive quantitative methods. However, the use of qualitative here is just to support the finding by expressing the influence of peer editing on students' writing through scoring. The findings of this study reveal that peer editing has both beneficial and negative effects on students' argumentative writing. The dominant impact found in this students’ writing is positive impact because there is only one negative impact has been determined. As the conclusion, this peer editing has some positive impacts to the component of writing such as, component of grammar, content, vocabulary, organization and mechanic. Second, the most positive impact of applying peer editing in argumentative writing is on the component of grammar. Third, the most component of writing that have been edited by the peers is grammar. Fourth, from the score of writing have been calculated, it is known that students’ writing score after editing session is more increase. Fifth, the result shows that most of editing have done in the argumentative writing is focus on grammatical component, and vocabulary, because from 59 from 74 editing is applied on grammatical component. The last, the comparison impact between male and female students writing is dominantly conducted on female students writing result and score.
