Trata-se de uma revisão integrativa com o objetivo de identificar na literatura científica as percepções da equipe de enfermagem acerca de sua importância no processo de vinculação afetiva entre pais e filhos em Unidades de Tratamento Intensivo Neonatal. Incluiram-se artigos indexados em três bases de dados relevantes na área da saúde, em português, inglês e espanhol e o público alvo foram as equipes de enfermagem atuantes em Unidade Intensiva Neonatal. Selecionaram-se 14 artigos para o estudo, publicados em revistas nacionais e internacionais, analisados de acordo com a análise de conteúdo de Bardin, na forma descritiva, constituindo categorias analíticas: Reconhecimento das famílias como integrante do ambiente intensivo neonatal, Desenvolvimento de ações humanizadoras do cuidado, Envolvimento das famílias nas ações de cuidado. O cuidado em neonatologia deve abranger a comunicação efetiva com pais que têm seus bebês internados na unidade intensiva, além do cuidado técnico Ações de capacitação favorecem a adoção de estratégias promotoras de um cuidado mais acolhedor, valorizando as tecnologias leves para proporcionar às famílias o fortalecimento do vínculo e um suporte na preparação para o cuidado domiciliar.
