Este artigo fornece uma visão acerca da Análise Textual Discursiva (ATD), como estratégia para interpretação de dados em pesquisas qualitativas, mas, sobretudo, apresenta processos distintos de execução dessa metodologia, os quais foram aplicados em duas pesquisas realizadas no Programa de Pós-graduação em Ensino de Ciências e Matemática, da Universidade Franciscana. Enquanto uma, pela necessidade pessoal do pesquisador, de trabalhar com o concreto, utilizou-se de papel, tesoura e clips, a outra, com base na lógica e objetividade matemática, fez todo o trabalho de forma virtual, fazendo uso de ferramentas disponibilizadas no conjunto de aplicativos do Office. Mesmo sendo dois caminhos de execução distintos, a teoria proposta por Moraes e Galiazzi foi seguida fielmente, o que reforça a possibilidade de diferentes interpretações para execução dos passos necessários para contemplar a teoria da ATD.
Este artigo apresenta os resultados da pesquisa de Souza (2019), realizada com professores dos anos iniciais da rede municipal de ensino de uma cidade do noroeste gaúcho (RS, Brasil), sobre as possíveis contribuições de um Grupo Reflexivo para a formação continuada de professores que ensinam matemática nos anos iniciais. Tal pesquisa foi desenvolvida como tese de doutorado no Programa de Pós-graduação em Ensino de Ciências e Matemática da Universidade Franciscana. De forma qualitativa, tal proposta consistiu na seleção de sete profissionais e na realização de entrevistas e observação de suas aulas para culminar em 10 encontros de um Grupo Reflexivo, espaço de reflexão e discussão sobre os desafios encontrados pelos docentes em suas práticas durante as aulas de matemática. Todos os encontros foram gravados e as transcrições na íntegra possibilitaram o uso da Análise Textual Discursiva. Os resultados indicam que a proposta de formação continuada possibilitou aprendizagens alinhadas às intencionalidades da pesquisa sobre a matemática ser compreendida como área essencial na construção do conhecimento. As etapas que antecederam os encontros do GR foram os diferenciais da proposta. Outra inovação foi a coordenação feita por um profissional da área da matemática que se mostrou relevante, tendo em vista especialmente que as dificuldades relatadas e evidenciadas relacionavam-se a conceitos da área. O GR mostrou que as discussões e as reflexões entre as participantes traziam os problemas e consigo as soluções. As particularidades da proposta, além de tornarem eficiente a formação na área específica da matemática, fizeram com que os professores, sentindo-se protagonistas do seu processo formativo, avaliassem a experiência como atrativa e personalizada. Tais fatos permitem confirmar que o Grupo Reflexivo contribui para a formação continuada de professores que ensinam matemática nos anos iniciais.
