En la medida que la tecnología ha ido adquiriendo un papel protagónico en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje de una lengua extranjera (le), se hace cada vez más necesario entrenar en el uso de las estrategias de aprendizajes de idiomas a aquellos estudiantes que aprenden una nueva lengua en un ambiente mediatizado por la tecnología. Es este entrenamiento el que permite desarrollar la autonomía del estudiante. en la taxonomía de o’malley y chamot (1990) dichas estrategias se dividen en Cognitivas, metacognitivas, afectivas y sociales. De acuerdo con oxford (1989), las estrategias de aprendizaje son acciones utilizadas por el estudiante para ayudar la adquisición, almacenamiento, el recordar y usar la información. nuestro estudio ha considerado los cuatro tipos de estrategias antes men-cionadas para ayudar a los estudiantes de inglés como lengua extranjera a trabajar mejor en un contexto de aprendizaje semipresencial basado en tareas y cooperativo. el propósito fue el de ayudar a los estudiantes a obtener más beneficios de un ambiente de aprendizaje combinado que ha probado ser eficaz para el aprendizaje de una lengua extranjera (morales & Ferreira, 2008). Los resultados del estudio demostraron que el entrenamiento constante en estrategias de aprendizaje de idiomas a lo largo del curso fue muy útil para desarrollar las habilidades lingüísticas de los estudiantes y aprender la lengua de mejor manera. las estrategias metacognitivas desarrollaron la capacidad del estudiante de evaluar el aprendizaje. las estrategias cognitivas les ayudaron a aprender nuevas estructuras lingüísticas, aumentando así la competencia gramatical en el idioma extranjero. Las estrategias afectivas son beneficiosas al momento de controlar la ansiedad al verse enfrentados a la modalidad e-learning. Finalmente, las estrategias sociales capacitaron a los estudiantes para buscar más oportunidades de interactuar en la lengua meta. en consecuencia, es altamente recomendable que para potenciar la auto-nomía del estudiante se recomiende a los profesores de lenguas extranjeras el considerar el uso de este tipo de entrenamientos al momento de utilizar aplicaciones CALL en la clase de idiomas.
