Los doce juicios posteriores de Núremberg fueron juicios personales adelantados contra criminales nacionalsocialistas por el Tribunal Militar Nacional Americano en la ciudad de Núremberg. Los doce procesos se dividieron en profesiones y gremios dentro del gobierno nazi. En el caso Flick, el caso de I.G. Farben y el caso Krupp fueron condenados grandes industriales alemanes por su participación en la comisión de crímenes de guerra y crímenes de lesa humanidad durante la segunda guerra mundial. En estos procesos fue revelada la relación entre la industria alemana y el régimen nazi. Además, se establecieron criterios para investigar y juzgar este tipo de macrocriminalidad y determinar la responsabilidad penal de directores de firmas y empresarios de acuerdo al derecho penal internacional. Estos criterios, pueden ser importantes para estudiar casos como el colombiano, en donde se investiga a miles de civiles que pertenecieron a corporaciones y empresas y que estuvieron involucrados en la comisión de crímenes de guerra y de lesa humanidad durante el conflicto armado.
