A violência sexual contra crianças e adolescentes é um problema de saúde pública que configura uma grave violação dos direitos humanos e que pode desencadear uma série de consequências de curto, médio e longo prazo nas esferas cognitiva, emocional e física da vítima. Ainda, crianças e adolescentes com deficiências apresentam maior risco de sofrer violências interpessoais que a população geral, incluindo violência sexual. Compreende-se, então, que o tratamento psicológico pode ser importante para a promoção de resiliência nessa população, de modo a auxiliar no enfrentamento da violência. O objetivo deste artigo de revisão narrativa de literatura é discutir quais são as principais evidências científicas relacionadas ao tratamento psicológico para promoção de resiliência em crianças e adolescentes com deficiência que sofreram violência sexual. Como principais resultados, encontrou-se que a maior parte dos protocolos de tratamento para crianças e adolescentes vítimas de violência sexual excluem da sua amostra pessoas com deficiências, de modo que estudos voltados para essa população são escassos na literatura. Diante desse cenário, ressalta-se a importância do desenvolvimento de estudos empíricos que forneçam evidências científicas e diretrizes de tratamento para crianças e adolescentes com deficiência vítimas de violência sexual, bem como o investimento em capacitações para profissionais da área.
