Abstract. One challenge in educational computing environments is to ensure the student engagement and motivation in using their resources. In this sense, gamification concepts have been employed to adapt game elements to learningteaching activities in order to make them more engaging and attractive. This paper presents the process of design and development of a software module for gamification in Ubiquitous Learning Environments (ULEs). Besides presenting the proposed module's architecture and its implementation details, we describe its integration to a real ULE application and its use together with collaborative mechanisms for the extension and enrichment of educational content.Resumo. Um dos desafios dos ambientes computacionais voltadosà educaçãó e garantir o engajamento e manter a motivação dos estudantes em sua utilização. Nesse sentido, conceitos de gamificação têm sido explorados para adaptar elementos de jogos a atividades de ensino e aprendizagem no intuito de torná-las mais envolventes e atrativas. Este artigo apresenta o processo de concepção e desenvolvimento de um módulo de software para gamificação de Ambientes Educacionais Ubíquos (AEUs). Além da arquitetura do módulo de gamificação proposto e dos detalhes técnicos de sua implementação,é descrita sua integração a um AEU real e sua utilização conjunta com mecanismos colaborativos de extensão e enriquecimento de conteúdo educacional.

The approach proposed here is focused on the separation of light fractions (corresponding to fatty acids with molecular chains between 8 to 14 carbons) from the fatty acid methyl esters (FAMES) of the biodiesel obtained by the reaction of transesterification of triacylglycerol’s in the kernel gueiroba oil (Syagrus oleracea) with methanol. The whole biodiesel was fractionated through atmospheric distillation in a single glass column with thermal insulation. Such a separation produced 59.79% in volume of light biodiesel (LB), which was mixed with the standard mineral Jet-A1 kerosene (cf. ASTM, corresponding to the QAV-1, cf. the Brazilian standard of the ANP) for aviation, in the volumetric ratios LB:Jet-A1 2:98; 5:95; 10:90 and 20:80. The values of density, water content, distillation analysis, flash point, calorific value and freezing point were carefully checked for their compliance with the official recommendations for a jet fuel. It was found that the mixtures richest in the Jet-A1 mineral kerosene, that is, those containing no more than 5% LB by volume, well meet the recommended standards and are technologically viable to replace pure Jet-A1 kerosene for the propulsion of turbine aircraft.

Os volumes molares ou densidades de seis álcoois puros pertencentes à indústria de biocombustíveis foram estimados para diferentes valores de temperaturas dentro da faixa entre 280 K e 333 K, utilizando um modelo desenvolvido a partir da equação de equilíbrio líquido-vapor ou Equação de Clausius-Clapeyron. O segundo coeficiente virial (B) foi calculado a partir de dados preditivos aplicados ao modelo. Como amplamente conhecido, variações no valor de B refletiriam nos volumes molares dos compostos com resultado semelhante. Neste trabalho, observou-se que os desvios foram positivos para todas as espécies estudadas e aumentaram entre os álcoois de longa cadeia de carbono. Quando disponível, foi feita uma comparação entre o volume molar experimental e o predito.
