A través del tiempo, nuestro pueblo ha sabido salir adelante ante las adversidades naturales, sociales y política, buscando su propia identidad. En el reino de Cuscatlán, también conocido como precolombino (¿-1524 d. C.), se utilizó lo que el medio le proveía. En ese período, también hizo uso del barro y de la metalurgia para elaborar instrumentos musicales que jugaron un papel importante en los rituales de la medicina, a la naturaleza y, por supuesto, en su contacto con los dioses del inframundo. En el Mestizaje cultural (1524- 1950) amalgamó lo útil conocido con todo lo que venía de las otras culturas (europeas, asiáticas y africanas), e insertó en los rituales católicos instrumentos que les servirían en sus propias celebraciones. En el capitalismo industrial se fortaleció su identidad con los materiales naturales y los productos de desecho y, por supuesto, con los instrumentos musicales que se incorporaron en lo cultural, social y en los rituales católicos.
El presente trabajo pretende hacer conciencia en el pueblo salvadoreño del enorme esfuerzo que históricamente se tuvo que hacer para diseñar el ideal de patria en el marco de intereses contrarios: unos a favor de la Corona, otros para beneficiarse directamente de la “independencia” y la gran mayoría para quitarse el yugo impuesto por España, buscando su propia identidad cultural.También es importante conocer las grandes limitaciones que existían en aquella época para conducir la patria entera hacia un futuro promisorio y por qué era importante lograr la libertad.
El presente artículo da a conocer los resultados producto de la investigación “Los efectos del uso de las tecnologías educativas virtuales”. La metodología que se utilizó es con enfoque mixto, de tipo descriptivo, a través de una encuesta, un cuestionario de estilos de aprendizaje validado por Honey Alonso y una ficha de observación. Se tomaron como sujetos de estudio a 37 estudiantes y 7 docentes del quinto ciclo de la carrera Abogacía y Notariado de la Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala del Centro Universitario de Sololá –CUNSOL- extensión San Juan La Laguna. Los principales resultados evidencian que el uso constante de las tecnologías educativas virtuales en las actividades académicas estimula los estilos de aprendizaje sensoriales, de la siguiente manera, el estilo visual en un 51%, visual-auditivo en un 46%, auditivo y kinestésico con menor porcentaje. Se concluye que los efectos del uso de las tecnologías educativas virtuales en los estudiantes, según su estilo de aprendizaje son acertados, debido a que estos estimulan los sentidos de la vista y el oído, por medio de las imágenes y sonidos que se reproducen en videos y otras aplicaciones digitales. Los recursos disponibles con éstas tecnologías se adecuan a las necesidades de cada estudiante, además fortalecen su aprendizaje de acuerdo a su estilo para la captación y retención de información.
PROBLEMA: actualmente la red social más utilizada por las personas es el Facebook y se ha observado que algunos usuarios especialmente los jóvenes dependen de la red social por falta de control y disciplina. OBJETIVO: evidenciar si el uso constante del Facebook provoca ansiedad o adicción en los usuarios. MÉTODO: se realizó el estudio con enfoque cuantitativo y alcance descriptivo, se tomó una muestra de 43 estudiantes de la carrera de Derecho del Centro Universitario de Sololá a quienes se les aplicó una encuesta. RESULTADOS: se evidenció que el 99% de los encuestados (42) tienen activada una cuenta en Facebook y ocupan en promedio media hora al día para revisar las noticias y muros de los amigos. La mayoría indicaron que el uso es satisfactorio para sus intereses a pesar de que en algunos ocasiona dolor de cabeza y de ojos. Únicamente el 10% de los estudiantes (4) indicaron tener dependencia a la red social Facebook. CONCLUSIÓN: es necesario tener disciplina para usar Facebook, si bien es cierto que ha significado un medio para acercar a las personas, para la libertad de expresión y sentimientos a través de diferentes opciones, no hay una cultura digital para su uso de forma responsable.
