Indole Acetic Acid (IAA) is one type of hormone that can stimulate plant growth. IAA hormone is able to accelerate plant growth, especially in the early stages of growth. IAA hormones are not always found in plants, one of which can be found in microorganisms. Rhizobacteria group have the ability to produce IAA hormones. This study aims to determine whether the IAA produced by Serratia marcescens strain MBC1 is able to accelerate the germination process of soybean seeds (Glycine max L.). The results of the Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) giving the production of IAA Serratia marcescens strain MBC1 of 8.31 ppm and 9.35 ppm to soybean seed germination significantly increased root length and stem length. The increase in germination from the administration of IAA Serratia marcescens MBC1 was still smaller than the positive control using synthetic IAA with a concentration of 8 ppm which was able to significantly increase soybean germination.
Kuliah Kerja Nyata ini dilakukan di Desa Naga Beralih Kecamatan Kampar Utara Kabupaten Kampar. Berguna sebagai sarana mahasiswa untuk mengabdi kepada masyarakat dalam pengaplikasian ilmu yang diperoleh dari perkuliahan. Proses KUKERTA atau pengabdian masyarakat mengenai padi gogo bertujuan dalam mengembangkan potensi desa upaya pemberdayaan masyarakat. Desa Naga Beralih meliki daerah rawa dan lahan kering yang cukup luas yang sebagiannya digunakan sebagai lahan persawahan, karena itu banyak dari masyarakat Desa Naga Beralih berprofesi sebagai petani. Metode yang digunakan adalah dengan memberikan penyuluhan dan praktek langsung kepada para petani Danau Subaghong untuk pengenalan lebih lanjut tentang padi gogo. Penyuluhan ini sebagai tahap awal dalam mengatasi ketidaktahuan masyarakat mengenai padi gogo. Kegiatan KUKERTA telah terlaksana dengan baik walaupun dilakukan dalam masa pandemi dengan jumlah peserta yang terbatas. Potensi daerah Desa Naga Beralih dalam pengembangan padi gogo untuk menunjang sumber ekonomi dan pangan sungguh menjanjikan. Pengembangan padi gogo dapat dilakukan dengan penggunaan tanah yang berkelanjutan, pengenalan cara penanaman dan hama, penggunaan varietas unggul dan upaya produksi air. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan yang sudah terlaksanakan yaitu bertambahnya pengetahuan tentang padi gogo sehingga masyakat Desa Naga Beralih bisa memaksimalkan lahan kering dan rawa untuk persawahan agar berdampak baik terhadap ekonomi dan sumber pangan masyarakat Desa Naga Beralih terutama kelompok tani Danau Subaghong.
The application of matrices to cryptographic problems, especially with Hill Chiper algorithm, needs an invertible matrix as a key and a plaintext's difuser. One of the invertible matrices is a Hadamard matrix (H). The Hadamard matrix is applied to cryptographic problems with Hill Chiper algorithm by modifying encryption and decryption processes with the help of Hadamard matrix properties and modulo operation. The Hill Chiper algorithm requires two keys, namely public and private keys. By using the Hadamard matrix as a public key, the encryption process can be shortened by eliminating the process of checking of the reverse key matrix. Any character can also be used as a private key provided the number of characters doesn't exceed the square of the Hadamard matrix order.
