We present a method for performing quantitative analysis of probabilistic systems with infinite state spaces. given an initial state s a set F of final states, and a rational 0>0, compute a rational p such that the probability of reaching F from s is between and p+0. We present an algorithm working in breadth first manner to perform quantitative analysis of infinitive state Markov chains, and provide sufficient conditions for termination of our algorithm.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
