Wolff-Parkinson-White paterni ventriküler preeksitasyonun en sık görülen şeklidir. Bu çalışmanın amacı Wolff-Parkinson-White paterni veya sendromu tanısı almış çocuk hastaların klinik özelliklerinin araştırılması ve izlem sonuçlarının incelenmesidir. Gereç ve Yöntemler: Bu çalışmada kliniğimizde ekokardiyografi kayıtları için kullanılan program kayıtları ve Holter arşivi incelenerek Ocak 2000-Aralık 2017 tarihleri arasında Wolff-Parkinson-White Sendromu tanısı alan 73 çocuk hasta saptanmış, hasta grubuna alınan olguların tıbbi kayıtları retrospektif olarak incelenmiş ve olguların demografik ve klinik özellikleri ve izlem sonuçları çıkarılmıştır. Bulgular: Belirlenen süreçte toplam 73 hasta Wolff-Parkinson-White Sendromu tanısı almış olup, dokuz hasta tanıda yenidoğandı. Hastaların 15'i (%20) Wolff-Parkinson-White Sendromu tanısı almadan önce en az bir kere kliniğimize başvurmuş ancak tanı almamış hastalardı. Wolff-Parkinson-White Sendromu tanı tarihinde 28 hastada yapısal kardiyak bozukluk saptandı. 23 hasta tamamen asemptomatikti. Dokuz hasta nonspesifik semptomlar nedeniyle değerlendirilirken yakalanmıştı, kalan 41 hasta semptomatik hastalardı. Semptomatik hastaların 18'inde kaydedilmiş supraventriküler taşikardi atağı mevcuttu. 23 hastaya risk değerlendirmesi amacıyla transözefageal elektrofizyolojik çalışma yapıldı. Ortalama 45.1±43 aylık izlem sürecinde 28 hastaya kateter ablasyon uygulanması sağlandı. Sonuç: Wolff-Parkinson-White Sendromu tanılı çocuklar supraventriküler taşikardi sırasında başvurabilmekle birlikte çoğunlukla semptomatik hastalarda incelemeler sırasında saptanmakta, az bir kısmı da asemptomatik bireylerde tesadüfen yakalanmaktadır. Risk değerlendirmesinde transözefageal elektrofizyolojik çalışma önerilebilir bir yöntemdir. Gerekli hastalarda ablasyon kesin tedavi sağlamaktadır.
