Свинец в сравнении с другими металлами обладает малой химической активностью и высокой коррозионной стойкостью. Комплексное легирование свинца сурьмой, теллуром и медью в оптимальных концентрациях позволило получить высокоэффективные сплавы для защитных кабельных оболочек. Свинцовый сплав Pb -Sb -Cu -Te обеспечивает кабельной оболочке высокое сопротивление усталости, ползучести и активной деформации в широкой области температур, а также хорошую технологичность при ее изготовлении. Основой для такого комплекса положительных характеристик является специфическая мелкозернистая термостабильная структура, обусловливающая стабильность свойств в эксплуатации. Сплавы такой композиции находятся на уровне мировых стандартов: они обладают лучшим комплексом эксплуатационных и технологических характеристик по сравнению с наиболее перспективными отечественными и иностранными аналогами. В работе теплоемкость сплавов системы Рb -Te определялась в режиме «охлаждения» по известной теплоемкости эталонного образца из меди марки М00. Получены полиномы, описывающие температурную зависимость теплоемкости и изменений термодинамических функций сплавов. Установлено, что с ростом температуры и содержания теллура теплоемкость, энтальпия и энтропия свинца незначительно увеличиваются, а значения энергии Гиббса уменьшаются.
