Gross Domestic Product (GDP) is the result of the contribution of 17 economic sectors in the Indonesian economy. Entering 2020 Indonesia's economic growth experienced a very significant slowdown as a result of the contracting growth of several sectors in the economy. The slowdown was caused by the implementation of and Large-Scale Social Restrictions, Work from Home (WFH) and the Enforcement of Restrictions on Community Activities (ERCA) policies to stop the spread of the Covid-19 virus. The purpose of this study is to identify how economic structures, unemployment rates, and government policies are developed to encourage the growth of economic sectors during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study was conducted using quantitative descriptive methods supported by secondary data published by Central Statistics Agency Indonesia (BPS). In analyzing research using descriptive statistical methods. From the results of data processing there has been a change in the leading sector of the economy from 2019 to 2020 where the sectors that have the highest growth are the information and telecommunications sector and the lowest-growth sector is the mining sector, transportation and warehousing sector with sub-sectors of air and rail transport. For Covid-19 handlers, the government issued a policy mix to accelerate economic recovery.
The demographic bonus is a phenomenon that will be experienced by Indonesia between 2030 and 2045. This phenomenon can be utilized if Indonesia's human resources have quality education and technological skills. This study focuses on 1) the influence of science and technology and the mean of the school year on HDI Indonesia in 2018-2020; 2) the magnitude of the influence of science and technology and the mean of the school year on HDI Indonesia in 2018-2020. This study uses panel data regression with the FEM model. Based on the results of panel data regression, it is known that science and technology have a positive relationship but do not have a significant effect, while MYS has a positive and significant relationship. Both aspects have positive growth for HDI in the period 2018–2020.
Indeks pembangunan manusia di Kabupaten Karawang memiliki tren yang positif pada tahun 2011-2019 namun mengalami penurunan pada tahun 2020. Peningkatan indeks pembangunan manusia di Kabupaten Karawang sejalan dengan peningkatan upah minimum regional namun tidak sejalan dengan penurunan indeks pembangunan manusia pada tahun 2020. Selain itu, peningkatan indeks pembangunan manusia di Kabupaten Karawang tidak sejalan dengan tingkat kedalaman kemiskinan dan realisasi dana alokasi umum yang mengalami fluktuasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh upah minimum regional, indeks kedalaman kemiskinan, dan realisasi dana alokasi umum terhadap indeks pembangunan manusia di Kabupaten Karawang pada tahun 2011-2020. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder yang diolah dengan analisis regresi menggunakan aplikasi Eviews 10 sehingga jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif. Berdasarkan hasil regresi diketahui bahwa variabel upah minimum regional memiliki pengaruh yang positif terhadap indeks pembangunan manusia sedangkan indeks kedalaman kemiskinan dan realisasi dana alokasi umum memiliki pengaruh yang negatif terhadap indeks pembangunan manusia. Variabel upah minimum regional dan indeks kedalaman kemiskinan memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap indeks pembangunan manusia di Kabupaten Karawang sedangkan realisasi dana alokasi umum tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap indeks kedalaman kemiskinan di Kabupaten Karawang.
