La longevidad del adulto es mayor con alimento. El porcentaje de emergencia es de 91.2% y la hembra parasita 1 a 2 larvas. El apareamiento es polígamo, con reproducción sexual y partenogénica tipo arrenotoquia. El macho copula con 5-14 hembras, el pre-apareamiento oscila entre 1-94 minutos y el tiempo de cópula entre 8-21 segundos.
