A iluminação natural é um recurso renovável e gratuito e, quando priorizada, propicia maiores produtividade e bem-estar do usuário. Dessa forma, uma correta avaliação do desempenho lumínico de um ambiente deve ser feita não somente por métodos quantitativos, mas também pela resposta sensorial do indivíduo que o utiliza. Como estudos indicam que a falta ou o excesso de iluminação pode interferir no aprendizado, o presente estudo procura avaliar o desempenho lumínico de uma sala de aula da UTFPR campus Pato Branco e buscar propostas de intervenção para oferecer um ambiente com conforto lumínico adequado. A avaliação foi feita utilizando as normas ABNT NBR 8995-1:2013 e 15215-4:2005 e através de entrevista aos usuários. Os resultados obtidos através do questionário se mostraram coerentes com os provenientes de medições in loco, o que torna o questionário uma ferramenta satisfatória para avaliação da qualidade da iluminação natural. Propostas de intervenção foram desenvolvidas a partir dos resultados obtidos.
