Diante do aumento da fiscalização ambiental e do volume de lodo gerado durante o tratamento de esgoto, concessionárias de saneamento têm buscado alternativas mais econômicas e eficientes para o desaguamento do lodo, visando à redução de custos e facilitando a destinação ambientalmente adequada. O leito de secagem com piso de blocos drenantes é uma modalidade de desaguamento natural, que inclui a fase de drenagem e secagem do lodo, e pode ser visto como alternativa promissora para sistemas de tratamento de esgoto de pequeno porte. Portanto, o presente trabalho analisou o desaguamento de lodo anaeróbio nas fases de drenagem e secagem, em leito piloto de piso de blocos drenantes em três períodos do ano distintos. O leito com piso de blocos drenantes mostrou-se eficiente na drenagem do lodo reduzindo mais de 65% do volume de lodo, após 24h do descarte, independentemente da concentração do lodo. Em relação à secagem, em todos os ensaios o lodo alcançou acima de 20% de ST em apenas 8 dias. As condições climáticas influenciaram a fase de secagem, principalmente a umidade relativa do ar e precipitação, propiciando em 22 dias de secagem valores de ST próximos a 30% em dois ensaios e acima de 60% para o ensaio realizado no inverno.
