Abstract. The reaction of NH 3 decomposition was studied at 500-700 ~ and atmospheric total pressure using a single-chamber cell-reactor. The proton conductor was a strontia-ceria-ytterbia (SCY) perovskite of the form: SrCe~,95Yb00503.~,. Silver films served as cathodic and anodic electrodes. The effects of imposed current, temperature and inlet gas composition on the reaction rate were examined.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
