Al1070/Mg-3Al-1Zn (AZ31)/Al1070 laminated sheets are prepared by roll bonding method. The microstructure and mechanical properties after rolling and annealing are investigated. The layer of Al 3 Mg 2 forms at the interface after annealing at 250 C, and the thickness increases with the increase of annealing temperature. It weakens the bonding strength of the laminated sheets. In addition, during tensile testing, the delamination happens, except for the specimen annealed at 200 C. With the increase of annealing temperature, the dimension of the delamination part increase gradually. The laminated sheets annealed at 250 C possess the best comprehensive properties.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
