A solid-state ion-selective electrode for determining chlordiazepoxide is described. A characteristic feature of the electrode is the presence of an intermediate conducting polymeric layer (transducer) of poly( oaminophenol) between the ion-selective membrane with ionic conduction and a Pt conductor. The properties of ion-selective electrodes with transducers are compared with those of ISEs without transducers (coated-wire electrodes, CWEs). The most important distinctive features of ion-selective electrodes with transducers are the high stability of their potentials in time and their small sizes. The main performance characteristics of the electrode and the scope of its application are found.
A new all-solid-state ion-selective electrode, which is reversible to papaverine, has been constructed using the conducting polymer poly(a-naphthylamine) as an ion-to-electron transducer. The ion-selective membrane represents an ion association complex of papaverine with a silicon tungstate counteranion in the form of an electroactive substance dispersed in a PVC matrix. The stability of the electrode potential of the proposed electrode was evaluated using a ionometric technique.
New all-solid-state ion-selective electrodes, which are reversible to propranolol (anaprilin), have been constructed. The electrodes show response with a slope close to that of the Nernst function. The electrode with a poly(o-phenylenediamine) transducer shows a linear response to propranolol in a drug concentration range from 2.2´10 -5 to 4.0´10 -2 M; the response of the electrode with a poly(o-aminophenol) transducer was linear in the range from 7.1´10 -6 to 4.0´10 -2 M. The optimum pH range extends from 2 to 8. Inorganic cations produced no substantial interference. The electrodes were successfully used for the potentiometric determination of propranolol in pharmaceutical preparations. 43 0091-150X/05/3901-0043
The paper is devoted to the problem and results of applying up-to-date nuclear spectrometry logs including C/O log for high-viscosity oil pool studies. Information about applied measurement technologies, tools, new comprehensive interpretation techniques has been given. Practical examples of the effectiveness of the nuclear logs in formation water salinity evaluation and localization of water flooded zones in oil recovery by thermal methods have been shown. Techniques for reliable forecasting of the characteristics of the inflows obtained in reservoir tests have been developed.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
