The crystal structures of (C6H5)4A~BF4, (C6H5)rAsPF6, (C6H5),AsAsF6, and (C6H5),AsSbF6 have been studied by X-ray diffraction. The unit cells are all tetragonal. The fluoroborate compound is probably isostructural with (C6H5),AsFeCI,. The other three compounds are almost isostruct~~ral with (C6H5),AsFeCI4, the only change being the accon~modation of the dipyramidal PF6-ion in the space group I3 (No. 82). Infrared absorption spectra are in general agreement with previous work on tetraphenylarsonium halides and compounds with hexafluoro Group VA ions. It is concluded that crystal field effects for this series of salts do not markedly affect the vibrational spectra.

ChemInform Abstract Coupling of the diimidazopyrazinedicarboxylic dichloride (I) with the aminobenzophenones (II) gives the diamides (III) which are cleaved on treatment with the amines (IV), producing the mixed imidazoledicarboxylic diamides (V).
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
