The emergence of international law and periodization of its development remain relevant today. In general, most scientists consider that there were limited manifestations of international law in the era of Antiquity and the European Middle Ages. However, the manifestations that did emerge are significant. In particular, the practice of settling interstate agreements in the Ancient East evidences such importance. In the context of ancient civilization, this practice reached a new level. It led to the emergence of sufficiently broad alliances of states and at the same time, customary international law, as was observed in the international legal practices in the times of Hellenistic era and the era of the Roman Empire.
Purpose: The purpose of current work is to study the problems of legal regulation of issues related to efficient and rational land use, the search for sources of capital accumulation to ensure sustainable agricultural production. Design/methodology/approach: The methodological basis of the research was formed by general scientific and private scientific methods. Findings: One of the main tasks of any state is to ensure food security, since it is an integral part of the country's national security. In Russia, this aspect of security remains an important area of government policy and lawmaking. At the same time, the depressive state of the industry indicates the low efficiency of the means of legal regulation of the agro-industrial complex. Originality/value: The factor of state structural policy in agriculture determines the main directions of development and institutional parameters of agricultural producers through legislative and financial policies. At the same time, law-making policy is an instrument for carrying out structural policy in agriculture, both at the federal and regional levels, since the state adopts laws that determine the further existence and development of various categories of farms.
The purpose of this article is to identify the specifics of mediation procedures, review them as extrajudicial method of conflict resolution. As the methodological basis of the research we use the synergistic, phenomenological and dialectical analysis techniques to examine the main aspects of the mediation as well as identify its principal features. As a result of the study, the authors concluded that in Russia it is necessary to take into account the international experience of mediation, legislation to support the mediation process and in some cases give it forceful character, to develop cooperation with the courts and notaries with the mediators.
