No abstract

This paper on engineering ethics points out some basic postulations of engineering ethics. It also indicates the necessity for a higher degree of engineers' ethical behaviour not only towards their colleagues but to the values of engineering and values of broader social community as well. Work ethics is an integral part of social ethics and vice versa. Engineering ethics is an ethical process. It changes but does not elapse. Just like man and his work. It is also ethical consciousness, ethical rules. In its centre lies the humaneness and work of an engineer, i.e. man, his moral integrity in working and wider environment. The society has to become a good society, while engineering ethics has to become a part of the good practice. In engineering ethics we strive for the following formula: a good engineer + a good man = a whole.

Ljudski rad fundamentalni je društveni odnos koji ima svoju tehničko -tehnološku, društveno -ekonomsku i ljudsku dimenziju. Ima rad i budućnost. Nakon što smo izložili neke prednosti i mane novih tehnologija, mi u ovom radu ukratko izlažemo i dajemo podršku Izveštaju Međunarodne organizacije rada "Rad za svetliju budućnost". Ukazujemo na našu pozitivnu viziju budućnosti rada i na neke naše slutnje. Na kraju rada nudimo, ovaj put, dva rešenja za humaniju budućnost rada.
