Sweet sorghuin is an important forage crop iit the tropics. Silages made froin ten sweet sorghuin varieties were studied to determine the effect of variety on nutrient content and in vitro dry matter digestibility (WDMD). Results froin silage analysis revealed significant (PeO.05) varietal differences in crude protein (CP), Ca, P, Mg, K, Na, gross energy (GE), ash, neutraldetergent fiber (NDF), acid-detergent ligitiit (ADL), cellulose, heinicellulose contents and W D M D ainoitg sweet sorghuin varieties.
