Structural and magnetic properties of LaKMn 1-x Fe x MoO 6 (0 ≤ x ≤ 0.2) double perovskite oxides have been investigated. Powder samples have been elaborated using the conventional solid-state reaction at 1100 °C. Structural studies at room temperature show that all our samples are single phase and crystallize in the orthorhombic structure with P222 space group. Magnetization measurements showed that our synthesized samples exhibit a paramagnetic to ferromagnetic transition with decreasing temperature. With increasing Fe content, the Curie temperature T C decreases, it is found to decrease from 180 K for x = 0 to 110 K for x = 0.2. Fe doping induces also a decrease of the spontaneous magnetization M sp .
PrKMnMoO 6 powder sample has been elaborated using the solid state technique at 1100 °C. Structural studies at room temperature show that our sample crystallizes in the orthorhombic structure with P222 space group. Magnetization measurements versus temperature of PrKMnMoO 6 sample show a ferromagnetic behaviour at T ≤ 80 K. The critical exponent γ, defined by M sp = M sp (0) (1-(T/T C )) γ and deduced from magnetization measurements versus magnetic applied field at several temperatures below T C , is found to be 0.31.

Magnetic properties D 9000Ferromagnetic Behavior in the LaKMnMoO 6 Double Perovskite. -The title compound is prepared by solid state reaction of a stoichiometric mixture of La 2 O 3 , K 2 CO 3 , MnO 2 , and MoO 3 (950°C for 72 h, 1100°C for 48 h). As revealed by powder XRD, LaKMnMoO 6 crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group P222. Magnetization measurements indicate a magnetic transition from paramagnetic to ferromagnetic behavior with decreasing temperature. The Curie temperature is determined to be T C = 180 K and the magnetic moment is 5.68 µ B /Mn atom, which is slightly smaller than the Mn 2+ value of 5.90 µ B . -(MEGDICHE, S.; ELLOUZE, M.; CHEIKH-ROUHOU*, A.; MADAR, R.; J.
