A new series of benzothiazole appended triazole derivatives were synthesized.
Characterization is done by FT-IR, Mass, 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopic techniques. The
newly synthesized compounds were screened for antioxidant and anti inflammatory activities.
Experimental data hypothesized compound 7b as highly potent cytotoxicant with lengthened
activity. Structure–activity relation interrelates the biological activity and chemical moiety of
the molecule. Structurally, 7b is a benzothiazolyltriazole having a pyrrolidine group (five
membered ring) attached to two CH2 groups and methyl substituent at 7th position of the
benzothiazole ring

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
