The results of analysis of the weldability of VT6 and VT8-1 alloys by linear friction welding are presented. It is shown that welding in the proposed welding conditions ensures the formation of defect-free full-strength welded joints.
The bondability by the method of seam friction welding of the combinations of heat resistant nickel VCNA-1VP alloys and EP975-ID is considered. The optimum parameters of seam friction welding are determined. The radiographic control of welds is carried out, The stress-strain properties at a bend and stretching are analyzed, a weld structure is investigated. The character of sample destructions is determined. The qualitative and quantitative micro-X-ray analysis is carried out and sample micro-hardness of a weld is examined.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
