In this paper we derive necessary and sufficient oonditions for a square transfer matrix to be rendered Strictly-Positive-Real (SPR) using output feedback. These conditions are then related to the existence of stable inverse systems.
In this correspondence, a continuous-time analog adaptive filter is suggested via the digital prototype. The continuous-time LMS algorithm is then described by a set of simultaneous first-order equations. The adaptive gain is shown to be unbounded theoretically.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
