Theoretically calculated emission and absorption spectra of InP/ZnS and InP/ZnSe/ZnS quantum dots (QDs) with the solution of Schrödinger’s equation on the basis of the strain‐modified effective mass approximation (EMA) have been well matched with the experimental measurements. We also predict the emission and absorption spectra of InGaP‐based quantum dots. The intensity of the emission peak wavelength of In0.43Ga0.57P/ZnSe/ZnS has increased more than 60% compared with that of InP/ZnSe/ZnS.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
