This paper develops "dynamic" ADI methods involving a computerized strategy for completely automatic change of the iteration parameter At in alternating direction implicit methods for linear or nonlinear elliptic equations. Computational results are presented for many large scale trial runs, corresponding to the finite difference equations for the divergence equation V a7u b on various regions, with various linear (a(x, y)) or nonlinear (a(x, y, u)) co'fficient choices. Our experience is that DADI has always worked, and worked extremely well.
The zeta potential of hydroxyapatite (HA) at a constant pH depends on the type of acid used. Fluoride ions increase the charge density and make the surface less prone to attack by acid or alkali. Sn2+ and Th4+ ionic complexes with fluoride ions and increase the uptake of fluoride by HA.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
