Аннотация. В данной статье проанализированы тенденции развития Российского и регионального рынков труда в определенные периоды с 2017 по 2020 г.г. В результате анализа и на том и на другом рынке выявлены общие тенденции, проявляющиеся в резком повышении безработицы в период пандемии, то есть в августе-октябре 2020 г.г., до этого наблюдалось ее стабильное снижение. Особый интерес у авторов статьи вызывает рынок молодых специалистов в возрасте от 20 до 24 лет, которые представляют значительную группу игроков на рынке труда. Происходящие изменения в экономике привели к нарушению равновесия спроса и предложения на трудовые услуги в рассматриваемом периоде на рынке молодых специалистов, спрос резко уменьшился (-34%), а предложение рабочей силы увеличилось очень незначительно (+2%), выросла конкуренция в расчете на одно рабочее место. Незначительное увеличение предложения рабочей силы, дает возможность авторам предположить о поиске соискателями новых форм занятости, в том числе самозанятости. На основе данного предположения усовершенствована разработанная ранее схема формирования конкурентоспособности молодого специалиста, показана взаимосвязь профессиональных, деловых, личностных компетенций с саморазвитием и их влияние на эффективность самозанятости.Ключевые слова.
