New Photolabile Protecting Groups in Nucleoside and Nucleotide Chemistry -Synthesis, Cleavage Mechanisms and Applications.-Different types of novel photolabile protecting groups with propoxycarbonyl, ethoxycarbonyl or methylsulfonyl moiety are investigated. The half-lifetimes in the deprotecting step depend on the substitution pattern.
