This paper describes about the design and installation of the Adaptive Cruise Control System (ACC) [1] for two wheelers. The proposed idea is an extension of the same system that has been successfully implemented in four wheelers [1]. Ultrasonic sensor is used to monitor the distance and the signal is being sent to the AT 89c51ED2microcontroller, which controls the speed of the vehicle through brake control and fuel flow control KEYWORDS brake system, fuel control system, microcontroller, ultrasonic distance sensor.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
