The axonal connections of the corpus allatum of Di~dercus s i n i i h have been investigated in detail. Apart from the two already known nervi corpori cardiaci (NCC I & NCC 11) of each side, additional axonal connections between the Corpora Cardiaca (CC) and the aortal wall, between thecorpus allatum and the aortal wall and between the corpus allatum and the oesophagus have been noted for the first time. The importance of the corpus cardiacum as the main neurohaemal organ vis-a-vis the terminal axons of nervi allati aorti (NAA) and/or the aortal wall, has been discussed.
