This study aims to analyze the effect of learning motivation, self-efficacy, and blended learning on students’ achievement in the industrial revolution 4.0. This is done to follow the development of the world of education to improve the quality of service, Human Resources and the quality of graduates. The research object was Public High School in Padang Sampling using Slovin formula. To analyze the research data used Partial Least Square (PLS) Version 3.0. The results showed that (1) Learning Motivation had a positive and significant effect on student achievement of Public High School in Padang, (2) Self-Efficacy had no significant effect on students’ achievement of Public High School in Padang, (3) Blended learning had a positive and significant effect on achievement learning of Public High School in Padang, and (4) Learning Motivation, Self-Efficacy, and Blended Learning together have a significant effect on the Students’ Achievement of Public High School in Padang.
This article was the latest research in 2015 that collaborative with my colleague about student personality in educational process using perspective of psychoanalysis consist of id, ego and super ego and will discuss with my research in 2016 selftranspersonal psychology perspective. This research was conduct in 2015 was implemented to understand a student motive to behave in their educational process, the result that using 77 student as a sample was found that Ego aspect in student personality has very high level. The question, if their ego was very high level so there is some disturbance in their social educational process, such individualist, lack of altruistic and lack of team work. In this time, education not only talk about cognitive but more than that, just like my previous article about education "It shape a ability of human being such cognitive, affective, conative, and psychomotor in the conciousness and logical process", that is important impact with global education connection with ASEAN Economic Community (AEC), this because educational process only came through understanding about them (student) self through transpersonal psychology perspective. So this article will discuss further about condition and how to shaping student personality through transpersonal psychology perspective and approach in counseling with point of view a logic of self, self as conciousness, and self realization in social educational process.
Language is an effective medium for children in establishing social communication. Children's language development is a combination of social interaction, emotional development, intellectual ability, as well as physical and motor development. Early education has an important role in developing children's potential. Teachers must be able to choose what methods are effective for developing language in children. This study aims to determine the effect of using the storytelling method on the development of language and language skills of early childhood. The research method used is an associative research type. Respondents in this study amounted to 30 children. Data collection techniques used by observation techniques, the research instrument used was an observation sheet in the form of an assessment rubric. The data analysis technique used a simple linear regression test. The results of the simple linear regression test showed that there was an effect of using the storytelling method on the development and language skills of early childhood. Children are able to speak fluently, word choice and sentence structure are also very good. The storytelling method can improve language development and skills in early childhood. Using the storytelling method can help improve language development and skills in early childhood.
Academic engagement is important for the smooth learning process. However, in fact the involvement of students in the learning process is minimal. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of positive reinforcement to increase student academic engagement. This study is a single case experimental design, with an A-B-A design research involving one student at Global Madani Junior High School who has low academic engagement. The instrument used in this intervention is an academic engagement rating scale based on the research of Schreiner & Louis. Analysis of the data used is statistical analysis and clinical analysis. The results showed a significant increase in academic engagement through positive reinforcement on scores at baseline A1, intervention, and baseline A2. Teachers and counselors can use various kinds of positive reinforcement to make students actively involved in the learning process.
This research aims to explain the types of politeness strategies used by teachers and students in class interactions, how these strategies are manifested in actions in class interactions and pedagogical functions of politeness strategies. The subjects in this study are teachers and students who used politeness strategies as many as 52 students and one teacher in the learning and teaching process. The research is a qualitative research. Data collected through observation and interviews. The results showed that is used by students to talk to the teacher when the meaning of speech is conveyed implicitly. There are four pedagogic functions in politeness strategies, namely giving the distance between teacher and students, atmosphere in class, reducing student tension, and making social interaction between teacher and students.
