of policy discourses retrieved from online media and national newspapers sought to identify policy actors and their historical socio-cultural political structures. Second, it sought to retrieve policy discourses on how to unravel the Anglophone crisis. It looked at 'keywords in context' (Bauer, 2000), using MAXQDA 2018 and Python CAQDAS software. However, the ethnographic content analysis as a research method focused on sentences and arguments used by specific Anglophone policy actors. It aimed at contextualizing the understanding of the cultural politics of policy expertise. We then took that method further by examining the retrieved words, sentences, and arguments. The technique was used to track instances of policy actors' inaction and cultural resistance. Résumé Les diasporas camerounaises se sont engagées depuis les années 1950 dans la vie politique de leur pays d’origine. Au fil des années, les moyens de leurs actions ont évolué, autant que leur organisation politique. Si jusqu’à la fin des années 1990 l’engagement politique des diasporas camerounaises a été exclusivement marqué par le développement des solidarités politiques transnationales pour soutenir le mouvement nationaliste et les partis politiques dans le pays d’origine, depuis le début des années 2000, de nouvelles formes d’action politique sont développées par ces populations, grâce aux technologies de l’information et de la communication (TIC) en général, et Internet en particulier.
