Climatic change has a great impact on the water cyclus, impacts on water resources, the frequency and intensity of floods because of high rainfall, the natural environment and human health. In this article, a survey of the effect of climatic change on waterborne diseases. Materials and Methods The keywords “climate change”, “waterborne diseases” were used in combination with “or” and “and” by performing electronic searches on Google and Google Scholar. The search was operated with a publication year insulate among January 2019 and October 2020. Results: Of the 34 articles collected, 19 articles were excluded because they had no correlation, while 15 articles were submitted and met the inclusion criteria. The literature reviewed shows that, most of the research has been carried out in wealthy countries, and approximation of the effect of climatic change on waterborne diseases are uncertain for the following reasons: 1) Hesitation about the spread of disease through climate change due to changing rainfall patterns 2) Hesitation about direct and indirect connection among climatic and human health 3) Hesitation about the connection among climatic and waterborne diseases as a consequence of changes in health. Conclusion: The hesitation in this estimate has led to little research in this regard.
Synthesis of nano-composite membranes using a phase inversion technique with polymer polyacrilonitrile-fe2o3 membrane for the separation of oil refinery effluent by coating using crosslinked PVA obtained results about the effect of the concentration of nano-composite polyacrilonitrile-Fe2O3 membrane on membrane performance can increase flux and rejection because Fe2O3 has properties that can increase hydrophilic properties. The effect of the duration of ultra violet irradiation on the performance of nano-composite polyacrilonitrile-Fe2O3 membrane for the separation of oil refinery wastewater, makes the membrane flux value increase but the rejection value decreases. The addition of PEG to increase the work and characterization of nano-composite membranes in the separation of oil refinery waste increases. Significant results can be seen from SEM, fourier transform electron microscopy (FTIR) and mechanical tests on membranes.
Language is a skill that insists approach and certain strategy to master it. ESA (Engaged-Study-Activate) is anapproach used in learning foreign language based on the theory that the success of learning language is determinedby the factor of involvement in learned language environment. Therefore, the ideal way of learning language is thatit is done in the country in which the language is used as the first language. When it is difficult to be achieved, itneeds the availability of artificial learning atmosphere that gives situation as if the students are in English speakingcommunity. This training needed three main activities: involvement, study, and language-based activities. By usingthose three main activities, the program of English skill improvement for the teachers of Islamic Junior high schoolin Tugu and Ngaliyan District was held. The result of the study through guidance shows that participants’ Englishskills increased. Although it is not too significant, the improvement of their English skills proves that ESA approachwas appropriate to be used to maximize participants’ learning achievement. Its less significance was caused byseveral factors, they are: learning activities (offline learning) was held in every Friday, at the time teachers had felttired. The offline program was also only held once a week although they were facilitated with online learningprogram. Another important factor that must be considered is that the teachers had many other activities related totheir Islamic social organization activity. However, they still had high motivation in joining the program. They alsohad a good commitment to learn English. This factor had good effect towards the learning achievementimprovement although it is not too high
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
