Zusammenfassung
Im Rahmen eines Feldexperiments konnten im Projekt CoWin Berufspendler*innen über einen Zeitraum von 27 Monaten (September 2018 bis Dezember 2020) das neue Arbeitsmodell Coworking im Realbetrieb testen und mitgestalten. Untersucht wurde, welche Potenziale, aber auch welche Barrieren und Herausforderungen (z.B. in Bezug auf Personal und Organisationsstrukturen) sich für Unternehmen und Beschäftigte durch dezentrale Arbeitsorganisationen unter Einbindung von Coworking-Spaces ergeben. Es zeigte sich dabei, dass bislang offenbar nur wenige Unternehmen und Beschäftigte das strategische Potenzial einer (weiteren) Dezentralisierung von Arbeit erkennen und angemessen im Hinblick auf eine bessere Arbeitsqualität begleiten. Viele Beschäftigte etwa werden, so die These, nicht systematisch darauf vorbereitet, die Potenziale des Arbeitsmodells Coworking in Bezug auf eine bessere Arbeitsqualität und im Hinblick auf die Schonung individueller und kollektiver Ressourcen auszureizen.
