A agricultura 4.0 vem ganhando força no mercado brasileiro utilizando de tecnologias como Internet das Coisas, computação de borda móvel, Redes 5G, para impulsionar o desenvolvimento agropecuário e a economia do país. Com a utilização de diversas tecnologias e dispositivos interligados, cresce a grande quantidade de dados e requisitos rigorosos necessários para atender diversas demandas tais como alta velocidade, segurança, comunicação confiável, entre outros. Este artigo propõe a integração do Multi-Access Edge Computing (MEC) com a Rede 5G e propõe um serviço de Radio Network Information Service (RNIS), que será implantado na arquitetura MEC como forma de prover requisitos para aplicações da Agricultura 4.0.
As redes móveis tem se tornado cada vez mais presentes na vida do ser humano no mundo todo. A chegada das redes móveis de quinta geração, mais conhecida como 5G, trouxeram grande avanço tecnológico. Contudo, a rápida expansão tecnológica no mundo força a evolução das redes móveis na mesma velocidade. A sexta geração das redes móveis (6G) surgem com o desafio de dar suporte ao desenvolvimento humano em escala global. Para isto, uma das tecnologias que são essenciais é o Multi-Access Edge Computing (MEC). Para o seu uso, o MEC deve ser integrado à rede 6G, logo, devem ser propostos modelos de integração. Neste trabalho discutiremos a integração entre 5G e MEC proposta através do desenvolvimento de um serviço de integração, com vistas para a integração entre 6G e MEC.
