Derivatives. -An efficient and simple method for the synthesis of the title compounds (IV), (VI) is developed using the three-component reaction of isoquinoline (I), activated acetylenes (II) in the presence of kojic acid (III) or 8-hydroxyquinolone (V) as OH-acids.
