Babies must be given complementary food for ASI (MP ASI) when they are 6 months old, to be able to meet their energy and nutritional needs. However, there are still many mothers who do not have enough knowledge in making MP ASI. The purpose of this activity is to train posyandu cadres in making MP ASI by utilizing an Android Base Application, Baby Meal Planner (BMP). The activity was carried out on 5‒7 October 2021 in the Babakan Village, Central Bogor District, Bogor City. The activity participants totaled 13 posyandu cadres from 7 RWs in the Village. The activity consists of 3 stages. The first stage is training in the form of pretest activities, material presentation, discussion, posttest, and MPASI menu planning assignments, the second stage is assistance in the form of participant activities to re-teach the knowledge gained on the first day, to mothers of babies who are members of Posyandu, the third stage is evaluation in the form of competition activities processing MP ASI. After attending this training, there was an increase in knowledge of 30% and skills of 14% for posyandu cadres in making MP ASI using the BMP application.
The aim of this study was to determine the effect of the COVID-19 pandemic on changes in eating habits is a quantitative study with a cross-sectional design conducted in Bogor with 110 respondents. Changes in eating habits observed include changes in eating frequency, meal portions, frequency of fruit consumption, frequency of vegetable consumption, frequency of snack consumption, frequency of consumption of fast food/frozen food, and consumption of supplements. Respondents were more women (83,6%), adult age group (89,1%), higher education (79,1%), work (61,8%), income > IDR 4,000,000 (75,5%). The results of the univariate analysis related to changes in eating habits consist of: changes in eating frequency (69,1%), changes in food portions (56,4%), changes in fruit consumption frequency (61,8% more often), changes in vegetable consumption frequency (63,6% more often), changes in the frequency of snack consumption (more often 74,5%), changes in the frequency of consumption of fast food/frozen food (more often 70%) and consumption of supplements (90,9%). The results of the bivariate analysis are showed that changes in eating frequency were significantly related to income; changes in meal portions were significantly related to education and expenditure; changes in the frequency of vegetable consumption are significantly related to income; changes in snack consumption frequency were significantly related to age, gender, occupation; changes in the frequency of consumption of fast food are significantly related to gender and consumption of supplements was significantly related to age. Suggestions for the research are needed to consistently educate about good and correct food habits so that more people understand and apply them to increase immunity and data collection will be better with direct interviews and fill out the FFQ of the food consumed.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat Baby Meal Planner, sebuah aplikasi berbasis android yang membantu para ibu atau pengasuh dalam merencanakan menu untuk bayi usia 6-24 bulan. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengembangan sistem adalah teknik waterfall. Alat yang digunakan dalam pengembangan aplikasi adalah microsoft Excel, smartphone Samsung Galaxy A51, smartphone Samsung Galaxy Note 8, dan software yang digunakan dalam pengembangan aplikasi adalah Android Studio V4.1.1. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah aplikasi berbasis android yaitu Baby Meal Planner. Aplikasi Baby Meal Planner mudah digunakan, pengguna hanya perlu memasukkan data bayi berupa berat badan (kg), tinggi badan (cm), umur (bulan), dan jenis kelamin. Selanjutnya aplikasi akan memberikan hasil berupa data status gizi, kebutuhan energi dan gizi sehari, kebutuhan energi yang harus dipenuhi dari Makanan Pendamping ASI (MP ASI) yang dibutuhkan dalam sehari. Selain itu, aplikasi ini juga menyediakan informasi pengetahuan terkait gizi untuk bayi, serta lebih dari 20 contoh resep menu MP ASI.
Vegetables and fruits are the main sources of vitamins and minerals for the body that are useful for increasing the body's immunity because they contain antioxidants. Some vitamins and minerals that have a role as antioxidants, including vitamin A, vitamin E, vitamin C, selenium, iron, and zinc. These substances are important for increasing the body's immunity during the COVID-19 pandemic as a prevention of the body from virus. The aim of this programme is to give knowledge and awareness about the importance of implementing the General Guidelines for Balanced Nutrition, especially in consuming fruits and vegetables to realize Balanced Nutrition for students in SDI Al Azhar 2. The method used is online counseling with power point materials, displaying videos, providing e-Booklet and filling out pre and post questionnaires. The counseling was attended by 8 teachers and 110 students enthusiastically and filled out the questionnaire completely. The results of this counseling show that the post-test results of the participants have increased in value by 11.75% compared to the results of the pre-test so that it can be concluded that there is a change in the cognitive improvement and enthusiasm of the counselingparticipants.
