In the present paper, the expression for scalar and vector potentials due to axial electric and magnetic current sources within pseudochiral omega media is derived. E and H fields in terms of these potentials are obtained. The potentials due to a vertical electric or magnetic dipole source outside or inside pseudochiral omega halfspace are determined in terms of a two-dimensional Fourier spectral domain and the expressions of electromagnetic fields with respect to these potentials are given. It is observed that, similar to common dielectric media, there is not magnetoelectric cross-coupling via current sources in pseudochiral omega media for the case of axial current sources.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
