Introdução: A Síndrome dos ovários policísticos (SOP) é uma endocrinopatia que tem condição clínica heterogênea e complexa, geralmente caracterizada por infertilidade, anovulação, irregularidade menstrual, hirsutismo, e algumas alterações endócrinas como hiperandrogenismo. Objetivo: Identificar as alterações bioquímicas presentes nas portadoras da Síndrome dos ovários policísticos (SOP). Metodologia: Está pesquisa está fundamentada em uma revisão integrativa da literatura. O período de levantamento dos foram fevereiro a junho de 2020. Foram utilizados os descritores "Síndrome dos ovários policísticos", "ovários" e "cistos" selecionados da relação de Descritores em Saúde (DeCS). Como critérios de refinamento textos completos, estudo feito em mulheres e artigos publicados no período de 2012 a 2016. O levantamento bibliográfico foi realizado via internet, por meio da Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde (BVS), como fonte principal, no banco de dados LILACS (Literatura Latino-Americana em Ciências de Saúde) e a MEDLINE (Medical Literature Analysis and Retrievel System
