2012. Materiales y métodos: Estudio descriptivo, cuya población estuvo constituida por 21 instituciones públicas y privadas, la muestra fue de 8 instituciones seleccionadas aleatoriamente. Participó todo el personal capacitado en iniciativa de hospitales amigos de los niños que labora en las instituciones. La información fue analizada a partir de 2 instrumentos: "Evaluación del Grado de implementación de la estrategia Iniciativa de hospitales amigos de los niños" y "Formulario de autoapreciación y aplicación en instituciones hospitalarias y ambulatorios". Resultados: El grado de implementación de la iniciativa varía dependiendo de las características de la atención de la institución valorada. En el ámbito hospitalario, se encontró que disponer de una política de apoyo a la infancia, capacitación del personal-en este aspecto-, así como garantizar la calidad del parto, el inicio precoz de lactancia materna (lm) y su práctica, entre otros, (pasos 1, 2, 4 y 6) tuvieron un grado de implementación medio. Mientras que la conformación de grupos de apoyo (paso 10) presentó un grado bajo. En el nivel ambulatorio fueron los pasos 1, 4, 5 y 10 sobre los que se obtuvo un grado medio, los demás pasos mantuvieron un grado alto. Ninguna institución ofrece chupos o biberones. Objetivos: Determinar los factores sociales, culturales, familiares y patrones alimentarios relacionados con el exceso de peso en la primera infancia en la ciudad de Cartagena Metodología: Estudio analítico cross-sectional, con una muestra de 440 niñas y niños, muestreo por conglomerados, valoración del estado nutricional por medidas antropométricas y los factores socioculturales, familiares y los hábitos alimentarios a través de cuestionario de ENSIN 2015 y la ficha de AIEPI clínico. Se aplicaron técnicas de estadística descriptiva y de medidas de asociación chi cuadrado. Resultados: En los niños y niñas menores de 5 años se encontró una prevalencia de sobrepeso de 7,79%, obesidad 6,23%, y una prevalencia de exceso de peso de 14,03%. Se encontró asociación con el sobrepeso en factores como: No tener estudio por parte del padre (p0,012) y pertenecer a un estrato socioeconómico alto (p 0,04). En cuanto a la obesidad fueron significativa las asociaciones con: El cuidador no tiene estudios (p0,021), estrato socioeconómico bajo y el niño de 2 años come solo (p0,013). No se encontró asociación con el consumo de alimentos específicos. Objetivo: revisar la información publicada sobre el manejo de la bioseguridad en los bancos de leche humana, el procesamiento de muestras de leche humana y la selección de donantes durante la pandemia por COVID-19. Métodos: se realizó una búsqueda bibliográfica en Medline, EMBASE, LILACS, bases de datos de la Organización Mundial de la Salud, Base de Datos Cochrane de Revisiones Sistemáticas y Google Scholar. Se incluyeron estudios con una metodología cualitativa y cuantitativa como revisiones sistemáticas, estudios observacionales, informes de casos, así como documentos de gestión técnica, editoriales con propuestas de gestión técnica, en inglés y español, publicados entre el 1 de enero y el 2 de junio de 2020. Los términos MeSH utilizados fueron: bancos de leche, lactancia materna, virus SARS-COV-2 y COVID-19. Los términos de DeCS fueron: bancos de leche, extracción de leche, virus del SARS e infecciones por coronavirus. Resultados: se encontraron 577 títulos, se excluyeron 537 en la selección y 18 en la fase de revisión de texto completo, fueron incluidos 22 títulos para síntesis. No se encontró evidencia de transmisión viral a través de la leche humana, pero sí de transmisión por contacto. Se encontraron medidas de barrera para prevenir el contagio. Existen diferentes posiciones sobre el uso de leche humana pasteurizada o no pasteurizada, debido a las propiedades biológicas protectoras que proporciona la leche materna no pasteurizada. Como medidas principales de protección contra la infección se hace énfasis en el uso de leche materna autóloga y en garantizar el buen estado de salud de la mujer donante. Conclusión: las medidas de bioseguridad recomendadas en bancos de leche humana, previa valoración del estado de salud de la mujer donante, determina el uso de leche humana heteróloga u homóloga. Se recomienda fomentar el uso de leche autóloga no pasteurizada.
