Ministry of Health Malaysia (MOH) has integrated sustainability program in the management of its assets particularly hospital buildings in line with the national sustainability goals and the United Nation Sustainable Development Goals. The fundamental sustainability change is significant since 2015 in the public healthcare sector where green business practice is more appreciable through formation of policy and sustainability related programme. Public hospital in Malaysia are very high energy consumers, therefore various energy projects have been implemented through Energy Performance Contracting (EPC). EPC projects in MOH is intended to deliver energy expenditure savings as well as to offset hospital building carbon footprint. EPC practice in government hospitals have managed to offset about 15.7 ktonne carbon emission in 2019 or about 16% of Government building national emission reduction target. Energy project such as energy efficient chiller retrofit, LED lighting retrofit and solar thermal hot water are some of the EPC initiatives by MOH in public hospitals. The energy projects not only serve to meet the overall Hospital Facility Management Contract sustainability goals but also to complement the green building target for Malaysian Healthcare building by 2025. The aim of this paper is to review the development of the EPC projects in public healthcare sector and its impact on government energy spending as well as to the climate.
AbstrakDakwah dan nasyid adalah dua elemen yang berbeda dalam arti, namun mempunyai persamaan dalam tujuan, yaitu menyampaikan pesan dakwah Islam. Pada masa ini nasyid menjadi salah satu alternatif yang dipilih sebagai media penyampaian dakwah melalui syair lagu yang dipersembahkan oleh seorang mursyid. Dengan demikian, secara tidak langsung nasyid telah menyampaikan pesan-pesan dakwah Islam melalui syair lagunya. Pada kajian ini penulis mengumpulkan data dari beberapa sumber rujukan yang berkaitan dengan dakwah dan nasyid yang berasal dari buku, jurnal, dan sumber rujukan lain yang berkaitan dengan judul kajian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan antara dakwah dan nasyid yang dapat terlihat dari segi tujuan antara keduanya. Selain itu, peranan nasyid juga menjadi salah satu faktor yang menghubungkan antara dakwah dan nasyid, salah satunya adalah nasyid dapat dijadikan sebagai media dalam menyampaikan dakwah Islam. Tidak dapat dinafikan bahwa kegiatan dakwah yang dilakukan mestilah menggunakan media sebagai sarana penyampaian dakwah, oleh karena itu kajian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi bahan masukan untuk menggunakan nasyid sebagai media dalam menyampaikan dakwah Islam. Kata Kunci: Dakwah; Nasyid; Hubungan Dakwah AbstractIslamic preaching (dakwa) and nasyid are two elements that have different meaning, but have similarities in purpose, that is to convey the message of Islamic preaching (dakwa). At this time nasyid becomes one of alternatives chosen as a medium to spread propagation through the lyrics of a song presented by a murshid. Thus, nasyid has conveyed messages of Islamic preaching through lyrics of a song indirectly. In this study the authors collected data from several referral sources related to Islamic preaching and nasyid derived from books, journals, and other referral sources related to the title of the study. The study found a relationship between Islamic preaching and nasyid that can be seen in terms of goals. In addition, nasyid also becomes a connection between Islamic preaching and society. It can serve as a medium in conveying Islamic preaching. It cannot be denied that Islamic preaching activities must use various media as a means of delivery Islamic messages. Hence, this study is expected to be input to use nasyid as a medium in conveying Islamic preaching.
