Postgraduates learning experiences namely knowledge, values and contacts acquired, professional and personal values acquired and specific learning problems encountered has shown a multiple dimension. The task of evaluating the student learning experience in postgraduate education can point out to researchers and university educators’ various mismatches that would not be immediately known otherwise. With this, universities can take proactive steps to celebrate learner diversity when addressing students’ difficulties in their continuous effort to further enhance support and facilities for their postgraduate students. This study aims to identify the elements and proposed a model of Techniques and Tactics (TT-s) that need to be implemented by educators and learners in helping to create students who are able, to succeed with further establishing best practice and effective model. Therefore, two guidelines for Models of Techniques and Tactics (TT-s) relationships for effective learning is discussed. The study is quantitative in nature and employed narrative approach. The findings are synthesized and summarized by presenting a matrix discussion of specific guidelines to increase effectiveness in the best practice and process of students learning. This study aims to propose a model to address the successful postgraduates’ studies. The model will robust postgraduates’ students to succeed in their learning journey.
Having a supervisor who can work with students in an ideal way throughout the research process is something that is very helpful to students. PhD students or prospective students and their supervisors are a team. Although the parties who need to conduct research and complete the thesis report writing are the students, supervisors also have responsibilities and interests in the continuation of postgraduate studies. The precise cooperation of students and supervisors can usually be seen in the perfection and completion of an excellent theses. However, students need to first understand what the real role of supervisors so that students and supervisors can work well together. Among the role of the supervisor are to provide effective supervision, act as a mentor and guide and serve as an additional knowledge reference centre. Supervisors should also be able to play the role of advisor and provide guidance to students for more accurate sources of reference. The objective of this study is to discuss the mutual co-operations and it takes two to tango in postgraduate supervision and the responsibilities of both the supervisor and supervisee in creating a positive environment and an effective supervisory process for the effectiveness in the postgraduate studies. The three (3) sample of common issue and case studies in addressing the issues encountered in supervision and the possible solutions to such problems are simulated as an option in creating better solutions and minimizing among the challenges faced. The study found that it takes two of them to tango and play their roles and understand their respective responsibilities for successful postgraduate supervision process.
-Dalam sistem demokrasi parlementer, kekuatan rakyat melalui pemungutan suara begitu penting dalam menentukan kelangsungan hidup partai yang berkuasa. Sedangkan pemilih junior merupakan kelompok pemilih terbesar dan sangat sensitif terhadap isu dan kebijakan nasional. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan relevansi APBN dengan pola pemungutan suara. Kaidah kajian ini menggunakan kaidah kualitatif dengan pendekatan kajian. Data diperoleh menggunakan triangulasi dengan menjalankan kajian literatur terhadap beberapa dokumen. Objek kajian dijalankan di Malaysia dengan menganggap negara lain sebagai perbandingan. Hasil daripada penelitian ini ialah Pendekatan Model Proses Pengagihan Nilai yang dijadikan asas dalam memenuhi tuntutan terhadap objektif penyelidikan ini. Perkataan politik sebenarnya adalah merujuk kepada proses pilihan sosial. Sosial pula merangkumi kesemua aktivitas manusia. Ianya membabitkan proses manusia berhubung sesama sendiri, yang mana perhubungan tersebut melibatkan kuasa dan semua individu dalam masyarakat yang akan bersifat politik. Perkara ini dapat dilihat dalam beberapa aktivitas manusia seperti mengundi, menunjuk perasaan, membayar cukai, hak mendapat pendidikan formal, hak asasi, dan sebagainya yang menjadikan manusia tersebut terlibat secara langsung dalam proses dan aktivitas politik. Justeru belanjawan merupakan elemen yang turut terkandung dalam pilihan sosial justeru relevan terhadap pola pengundian di Malaysia. Secara keseluruhan situasi ini menunjukkan bahwa respons dalam kalangan responden adalah amat memuaskan dan hal ini dapat dijustifikasikan melalui data yang dibincangkan.
ABSTRAK Bidang Sosiolinguistik di Malaysia menunjukkan khalayak mempunyai kemahiran dalam bidang bahasa Arab. Bidang pengajian bahasa Arab antaranya melibatkan perubahan bentuk kata yang berkait dengan ‘ilm al-sarf dalam nahw atau tatabahasa Arab yang melibatkan aspek-aspek morfologi, semantik dan sintaksis; kejayaan dan kemampuannya dalam peranannya sebagai bahasa ilmu, peradaban dan komunikasi. Sosiolinguistik adalah salah satu bidang utama dalam disiplin linguistik. Nama sosiolinguistik terbentuk daripada dua istilah, iaitu sosio, singkatan daripada sosiologi-disiplin yang meneliti masyarakat dan linguistik-disiplin yang meneliti bahasa. Sosiolinguistik adalah bahagian pengajian (studies) dan pengkajian (research) yang menggabungkan dua disiplin, iaitu sosiologi dan linguistik. Dengan sifat penggabungan dua disiplin ini, sosiolinguistik memberi tumpuan kepada dua entiti, iaitu bahasa dan masyarakat. Sosiolinguistik menganggap bahasa dan masyarakat sebagai satu struktur, yakni hubungan antara kedua-dua entiti tersebut yang rapat. Kajian ini mengadaptasi kajian analisis deskriptif. Dua objektif kajian ialah menganalisis bidang pengajian bahasa Arab dan bidang sosiolinguistik di Malaysia dan menghuraikan saling kaitan keduanya. Resolusi kajian ini menghuraikan bidang pengajian bahasa Arab dan bidang sosiolinguistik di Malaysia dengan menggunakan Analisis Matrik keutamaan bagi keperluan perspektif, perbandingan dan keperluan kajian akan datang. ABSTRACT The field of Sociolinguistics in Malaysia indicates that the audience has skills in Arabic. The areas of Arabic learning include changes in the form of words related to 'ilm al-sarf in nahw or Arabic grammar involving aspects of morphology, semantics and syntax; it s success and ability in its role as the language of science, civilization and communication. Sociolinguistics is one of the main areas of linguistic discipline. The name of sociolinguistics is made up of two terms, namely, sociology, an acronym for sociology that studies society and linguistics that studies language. Sociolinguistics is the area of studies and research that combines two disciplines, sociology and linguistics. By virtue of the merger of these two disciplines, sociolinguistics focuses on two entities, language and society. Sociolinguistics considers language and society as one structure, which is the relationship between the two entities. This study adopts a descriptive analysis study. The two objectives of the study were to analyze the field of Arabic language studies and sociolinguistics in Malaysia and to explain the relationship between the two. The resolution of this study describes the field of Arabic language studies and sociolinguistics in Malaysia by using Matrix Analysis for the purpose of perspective, comparison and future research needs.
