Sie hat aufgehSr~ ein Leiden zu sein, das vorwiegend nur den pa~hologi-schen Ana~omen in~eressier~. Die Auffassung. die schon Zenker aussprach, dass diese Krankhei~ wahrseheinlich h~ufiger sein werde, als man zu seiner Zei~ annehmen muss~e, best~i~ sich~ und Marchand 2) weis~ auf die bemerkenswer~e Erseheinung bin, ,,dass trotz immer grSsserer Seltenheit der Taenia solium der Cysticercus dieses Bandwarms noch immer verhi~ltnisna~ssig h~nfig and ganz besonders im Gehirn und seinen E~uten angebroffen wird", lch selbs~ babe in den letzten Jahren wieder einige F~lle dieses Leidens beobachten kSnnen. Einer yon ihnen war dadurch ausgezeichnet, dass nich~ nur das Ge--him, sondern auch das Riickenmark erkrank~ war und zwar ia einena Mal~e, dass die Sympiome yon seiten des letz~eren Organs in der zweiten Phase des Leidens durchaus im Vordergrund standen. Aus diesem Grunde wird sich eine kurze Mi~eilung der Krankengeschichte lohnen.H. It., Schmied, 38 Jahre alt. Aufgenommen den 11. VIII. !909. Patient ffihlte sich vollkommen gesund, bis ervor 4 Jahren eines Tages mit Kopfschmerz nnd Erbrechen erkrankte. In den niichsten Tagen wurde er mehrfach schwindelig und sttirzte bin. Das Bewusstsein schwand in den Anfallen nicht v~llig, aueh hatte er keine Kriimpfe. Nach 14 tiigiger Bettruhe waren diese Anfi~lle ge~chwunden, nach 3 Wochen nahm Patient wieder die Arbeit auf. Er betrachtet den ga,zen Zustand als ttitzschlag. Eine geringe Steifigkeit des linken Beines, die seit dieser Zeit zuriickblieb, wurde nicht weiter beaehtet.
